My wonderful colleague April Liu and I are thrilled to announce that our interactive digital project Embark: Reconstructing Six Disappeared Sites of Chinese Canadian History in British Columbia (a loooong, working title) has been supported, to date, with grants from the BC Arts Council, Canada Council, Creative BC, and Heritage BC. We are excited to have also partnered with Cinevolution Media Arts Society and to have recently received funding for this project from Digital Museums Canada. We’re so grateful and beyond excited to bring these hidden and fragmented stories to the public. It’s an honour to amplify these voices and histories.
