Collaboration with Jill Anholt Studio

"Samsara" — Finalist proposal for the Global Affairs Canada Commemorative Artwork competition. Designed by Team Anholt. Digital rendering / Conceptual design.
Collaborating with Jill Anholt Studio I have served as a specialized consultant (research, writing, digital interactivity) on three major large-scale public art commissions across North America and Australia:

  • “Samara” Proposal Global Affairs Canada Commemorative Artwork (Ottawa, ON): Served as a consultant on the shortlisted, deeply moving design concept honoring Canadian personnel who have lost their lives or suffered trauma while serving overseas. The proposed 11-metre bronze installation featured an intricate, spiralling flight pattern of sugar maple seeds, physically connecting global sacrifice back to Canadian soil.
  • “Live Streams” Proposal, Festival Pier (Philadelphia, PA) – Audio & Digital Experience Creator: Created the entire audio framework and interactive concept for this shortlisted waterfront competition proposal. Designed a hypothetical, GPS-triggered spatial audio app concept modeled after “water dowsing,” allowing visitors to use their physical movement to “tune in” and eavesdrop on historical narratives from the site’s buried creeks.
  • Memorial to Workers Who Have Died at Work (Melbourne, Australia): Completed consulting work for this successfully awarded $2.5 million international commission. The site-specific sculpture, designed as a living, inhabitable solar device that captures time and light through an eight-hour workday, is now in production at the historic Eight Hour Monument Reserve in central Melbourne.
